Editorial policy

Prime Conversation aims to make sporting culture understandable without blurring fact, interpretation and promotion. Our editorial choices are guided by clarity, context and a visible distinction between independent coverage and paid collaboration.

Accuracy and context

We take care with names, terms, rules and historical descriptions, and use sources appropriate to the subject when preparing published work. Rules and customs can differ between sports and settings, so we describe the scope of a claim rather than presenting one version as universal. We do not promise that every detail will be free from error.

Independence and corrections

Editorial decisions are separate from partnership arrangements. Payment or a commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view. If a reader identifies a possible error, they can contact us with the relevant passage and explanation; we review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making substantive changes clear where appropriate.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Partners do not receive control over unrelated editorial decisions. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where applicable, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present them as documentary photographs.
